Press Release: WoodTech Connect 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA)
Green Bay, Wisconsin — May 2026
The Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) successfully hosted WoodTech Connect 2026 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, bringing members together for three days of plant tours, industry insights, and networking across the region.
The event opened with a Welcome Reception at The Northland Hotel in the Alley, where attendees reconnected with colleagues and met new members in a relaxed, high‑energy setting. Over the next two days, participants toured seven manufacturing facilities, including KI–Bonduel, Cruiser Yachts, Valley Custom Door and Valley Cabinets, Green Bay Packaging, Granite Valley Forest Products, Oshkosh Door Company, and Elipticon Wood Products. Each stop offered a firsthand look at advanced automation, workflow optimization, and best‑in‑class production practices.
During the WCMA Dinner, Executive Director Amy Snell and Platinum Sponsor Federated Insurance addressed attendees, followed by a keynote from Dana Lee Cole, Executive Director of the Hardwood Federation. Cole provided an update on federal policy issues impacting the hardwood industry and emphasized the importance of member engagement in advocacy efforts.
WCMA extends its appreciation to the event sponsors — Höcker North America, Stiles Machinery, Osborne Wood Products, and Federated Insurance — whose support made WoodTech Connect 2026 possible.
Looking ahead, WCMA announced that WoodTech Connect 2027 will take place in Indiana, with tour scouting already underway. Members can also look forward to the Fall 2026 Spotlight Plant Tour, WCMA’s presence at IWF2026 in Atlanta, and the release of the updated WCMA Buyer’s Guide.
